Five-star quarterback prospect Dylan Raiola committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Monday following a weekend official visit and despite being committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for nearly seven months.

Dylan Raiola, ESPN's top pocket-passing quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class, announced on social media that he's switching his college commitment to Nebraska from Georgia.

The Georgia Bulldogs have their first commit for the 2026 recruiting class. 5-star QB Jared Curtis receives the distinction of being the first commit for Georgia in his class.

High school career. Puglisi attended Avon Old Farms High School in Avon, Connecticut. He started his high school career at Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts, where he earned his first college offer at the age of 15, before transferring to Avon Old Farms.

In January 2023, Raiola announced his top four schools, which were Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon, and USC, and ultimately announced that he committed to Georgia on May 15. On December 18, 2023, Raiola flipped his commitment from Georgia to Nebraska. On December 20, Raiola officially signed with Nebraska.

Glenn Thomas is in his first season at Nebraska in 2024, having been hired on Jan. 17, 2024. Thomas has more than two decades of college and NFL coaching experience and will serve as Nebraska's co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

It's almost kismet that Dylan Raiola and Daniel Kaelin both ultimately ended up in this Nebraska football recruiting class together. The pair have been the top QB targets for this cycle dating back to spring 2021, when they became two of the youngest quarterbacks to ever receive a Husker offer.
