What style of pizza is Dewey's? ›

Dewey's pizza is New York Style, cut in triangles of course, thin in the middle with a soft and chewy crust. We make our dough daily, we chop our veggies daily and we shred our cheese daily.

Did you know our traditional mozzarella cheese is produced with microbial rennet? That means our mozzarella is made with microbial (vegetarian) rennets and is considered vegetarian-friendly.

Andrew DeWitt is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Dewey's Pizza, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Andrew founded Dewey's in Cincinnati in 1998 and has grown the restaurant to over 25 locations in Cincinnati, Dayton, Cleveland, Columbus, St. Louis, and Kansas City, Kansas.

Columbus-based Ezzo Sausage Company crafts top-quality Italian meats—including the pepperoni Dewey's uses on their pizzas. The spicy burst of flavor complements the spices in the Dewey's red sauce and the creamy, house-shredded mozzarella.

Dewey's white sauce is simply olive, minced garlic, fontina and mozzarella cheeses (very light but tasty if you like garlic). Our white sauce & Greek style Socrates Revenge & Edgar Allan Poe Pizzas are unique pies that are creating a lot of buzz.

Although the pizzeria might cut it into the usual 8 slices, those slices would be tiny! If making it at home, I would only cut it into 4 slices, tops. It would feed 2 people with smaller appetites, or one person with a good appetite.

How many pizzas does one person eat? ›

Number of Guests multiplied by 3 ( avg. slices a person eats) then divide that by 8 (avg slices on a large pizza) = how many pizzas you should order. Example: 20 guests X 3 slices each = 60 slices of pizza. Divide 60 slices into 18 and you get 7.5, so you should order 8 pizzas.
